I am un chien, c'est un duo: David Fontao (frérot de José des Stuck in the sound) et Douglas Cavanna. Le premier nous balance une voix transcendante, un flow sans faiblesses, sur la guitare heavy et enjouée du second. Ajoutez à cela une boîte à rythme simple et efficace, vous obtenez une tuerie, un son qui déboite tout. On les compare pas mal à Justice, on voit certes des similitudes mais je leur trouve un air moins profond et plus nonchalant qui fait tout leur charme.

Petits protégés de Franz Ferdinand, le groupe a d'abord
été connu sous les noms Angel Range
et Union, avant de choisir le nom définitif
de Bloc Party.
Composé de quatre membres : Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack,
Gordon Moakes et Matt Tong, la formation signe sur le label
Wichita en 2004 et sort plusieurs maxis la même année. Le premier
album Silent alarm fait son entrée dans les bacs en
février 2005.
